We have a super easy do it yourself today just in time for the 4th of July. We discovered a fun way to add pattern and color to candy!

Separate the paper ribbon so that it is in strips, set stack of candy (in this case we used our favorite, red vines) on top of ribbon and begin rolling paper around candy and seal off with tape, washi tape or stickers.

And presto, you have one fire cracking display cute enough for any 4th of July party!

With 4th of July nearing, we saw it as the perfect opportunity to make some gummy candy skewers. And we could not be happier with the results!

For the candy kebabs, we scored the sweets in the bulk bins, while shopping at Win Co. They had an end cap of patriotic candy that was perfect for these sweet and sour skewers! With wooden kebab sticks, we proceeded to build the skewer, making each one slightly different. And for those of you who can’t be bothered with making your own, look to Sweets Indeed!

To hold these delectable kebabs, we used a 4″ red burst blumebox and a cake pop insert did the trick! We leaned on Martha Stewart to offer up some patriotic pizazz, who has this great printable star template, that we printed onto vinyl.

Super easy, super cute and super patriotic!
