We were inspired by a Hostess with the Mostess party to create a blumebox ladybug centerpiece. What a fun theme for a baby shower or little girls birthday party! With such a general theme, there are so many FUN decor items out there to add to the celebration.
Be sure to check out Hostess’ Ladybug/Lovebug post for product availability.

Mother’s Day is May 9th and we have just the thing to make Mom smile!
Our My Monet Kids Kit comes with a 4-pack of assorted color crayons to draw on the blumebox, but the paper canvas allows the young artist to add all sorts of decor to it!

Fulfill your child’s dream about running away with the circus by having a Circus themed birthday party. By starting with the red, yellow and white color palette the party will begin to take shape.
Decor used in this celebration consist of boxes of animal crackers, peanuts scattered accross the table and 4″ white square blumeboxes that are filled with popcorn making for great centerpieces. Cotton candy or peanuts would also look fantastic inside the cubes as centerpieces.
Keep in mind too that these popcorn boxes could also be used as a place card settings for each guest invited to attend the circus!
There are so many desserts that could go with this theme, but we especially loved these popcorn bag brownies from one of our favorite blogs, bakerella.

We love this party that was sent in from a blumebox customer.
The birthday girl, Tara loves sweets, so an ice cream / candy party was the perfect choice for her 5th birthday celebration. They chose to host the event at Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlor which recently opened at The Mission Viejo Shops, in Orange County, California.
Sheri Valainis Events, helped to completely transform the space into a magical, sweet candy palace. They alternated between ice cream sundae centerpieces and glass jars filled with sundae toppings. To tie the look together, they created whimsical marabou ice cream cone centerpieces with hot pink and lime green blumeboxes set on each end.
To add to the ambiance, they created a candy table straight out of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. The kids loved it. They kept the children busy with ice cream and candy related crafts and ice cream themed games. A great time was had by all.
Thank you Tara for sharing your magical 5th birthday party with us all!
