Baby boy burp cloth bouquet

Form and function have been combined to design this brilliant baby shower centerpiece. Hand-made burp cloths were rolled-up around long dowels that were used to insert directly into the floral bouquet.
At the end of the shower the mom-to-be can take home the bouquet and enjoy the custom made towels for her newborn.

Cut out the step of making your own burp cloths and incorporate some great items from Baby Star! This boy baby shower centerpiece was created using an 8in tall eucalyptus blue blumebox.

oh-boy-duck

A mommy expecting a boy will get a lot of use out of bath toys, which inspired us to create this rubber ducky centerpiece for the baby shower that can double as a gift.

We kept it simple with just five gerbera daisy stems, a bit of veronica to fill in the gaps and topped it off with the destined-to-become-a-bathtime-favorite rubber ducky.  Shop 6″ blumebox centerpieces here as a start point. For the ribbon, we used a recycled piece from the sewing drawer. Simply cut two pieces to length, wrap around the blumebox and adhere to the inside with a piece of tape. Add the flower arrangement and duck and voila!

This baby shower centerpiece doubles as a take-home gift; we used them as prizes for those who had won the shower games!
