What we love most about the holiday season is the endless array of delectable sweets!

We love candy so much that we decided to create peppermint topiaries. We started with Styrofoam cones and painted them red.  And then we affixed the peppermint candy to the cone with a hot glue gun.  We wrapped our  4″ blumebox with ribbon to dress them up, filled them with marbles and put the finished peppermint trees on top.

This extremely simple and easy whimsical DIY  project, could be less holiday and more suitable for kids birthday parties and candy bars by using different sweets. Sink your teeth into some gumdrops, M&M’s, licorice. . . to name a few!

Candy land party theme centerpieces

When Ryan and Trista Sutter, of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette fame, threw a party to celebrate their son’s first birthday, blumeboxes were part of the celebration!

Mom Logic hosted the birthday festivities and the talented Jenn Sbranti from Hostess with the Mostess helped with the creative planning of it all.
Candy-colored blumeboxes were decorated with stickers and our patterned ribbons, then filled with assorted candy suckers that made for a very delicious bouquet.
And to top of the colorful “candy land” theme, Jenn wrapped the napkins with our patterned ribbons adding to the very festive soiree!
