While researching train themed parties, we came upon an adorable one via the blog Mommy Amour, that just so happened to feature the 8″ white blumeboxes on the dessert table of her 2 year old boy, Grayson’s lime green and blue train birthday party!

It is fare to say that not one detail was left out of this incredibly orchestrated party! We know from experience that the cost of  parties add up and it is important to be smart in the planning process and choose wisely where you want to spend the money. We love this clever, low-cost centerpiece option, Colleen came up with, featuring the 8″ white blumebox, lime slice striped paper ribbon filled with light blue tissue paper pom poms.

Be sure to check out her “All Aboard” post to get more ideas on throwing one awesome lime green and blue train birthday party!

We of course could not resist including a picture of Grayson, the birthday boy, helping himself to a cupcake or two! A boy after my own heart!

One of our favorite color palettes at the moment is the pairing of our aqua marine (tiffany blue) and red burst. So when Melisa at Project Nursery emailed us images from her son Austin’s 3rd birthday party, we had to share it with you all!

She incorporated our 4″ cube aqua marine blumeboxes for the centerpieces for both the kids table as well as the adult tables.

“Using blue blumeboxes as the container for both, I suggested red gerber daisies or carnations tightly packed for the adult centerpieces.  The kid’s centerpieces needed to be a bit more “fun”; a bunch of balloons (using red tissue filler around the base) and a custom centerpiece stick with Austin’s logo on it.”
