Believe it or not, Thanksgiving is right around the corner and we have a fun holiday project that the kids will love.

Our inspiration came from a post over on SheKnows.com and we knew we had to give it a try it with a blumebox. We used a 6″ mocha pyramid blumebox, but really any neutral color would suite for the birds body.

The feathers are made up of colorful leaves that were collected by my girls on a walk home from school. We began adhering the leaves together with glue dots forming them into the shape of a turkey’s tail. Make it bushy or keep it sparse, it’s up to you!

Add googly eyes, beak and gobble and you have one pretty cute turkey.

Calling all Superhero’s . . . I saw it fit to post this Superhero’s themed party created by talented blumebox customer, The Candy Box & More, seeing as it’s Halloween.

With some fantastic printables, these superhero centerpiece took shape quite easily! I love the consistency with using the 8″ white blumeboxes and mixing up the colored ribbons and printables to have some fun with the red, white, blue and yellow superhero theme.

With Halloween days away, I have been scouring the net for costume ideas and I learned that Minions rank the top 10 most searched Halloween Costume Ideas for 2013. So with that random fact, I bring you this Despicable Me Party from blumebox customer, The Candy Box & More.

Let’s start with the balloon backdrop sign for the sweets table. . . It is off the chart! Balloons are a fun and somewhat easy way to add color and punch to your theme. This masterpiece, would have required some time, but the end result is awesome!

For table centerpieces at this Despicable Me party, 8″ white blumeboxes were adorned with ribbon and filled with tissue shreds and signs of the movies characters. Easy and a smart cost reducing solution for table centerpieces.

Folks, this is one easy and fun project you or your children can do in seconds to decorate your home for Halloween, give as a gift for a teacher, or use as a plate stand to display treats for that Halloween party!

This project requires a blumebox, a black sharpie and some spiders. We recommend drawing on a flat blumebox to make things easier, but that is up to you!

Once you start your web, you will have a hard time stopping! Keep it to one side or carry it over the four panels. Adhere a spider or two and fill with flowers and you have a very festive Halloween floral arrangement. In place of flowers…plop a pumpkin on top and you have yourself a centerpiece. . . or place a plate of treats on top and you have yourself one personalized dessert stand.

Of course the fun and creativity does not stop there . . . make a collection of designs that includes a bat, a witch and ghost and run them down a table!

Blumebuds are the perfect size display boxes for your Halloween needs. From party table decor, fun place settings ideas or a creative way to give treats, the blumebuds are available in festive orange and black.

Shown here, we mixed things up by displaying candy kebabs and toy spiders (that we glued on a stick and wrapped with washi tape). The card that comes with the blumebuds can be personalized to suit the occasion or the place setting.

Spooktacular Idea . . . Purchase a 6-pack of blumebuds and give out one to each of your kids teachers!
