Has anyone else been thrown off with the early arrival of Easter this year? Well, I certainly have!!! For those of you who still are not sure how that table is going to look this Sunday, we have a super easy and gorgeous idea to send your way.

Burlap people. . . is a great material that can add a nice touch of rustic elegance and country chic to anything. For the blumebox bouquet, I started with my current favorite size blumebox, the 5.5″ cube, in white.

Start by decorating the blumebox. Glue desired length burlap to suit circumference of box. I happened upon some awesome burlap ribbon one Michael’s outing, that was great for this project. Layer the burlap with your color choice of raffia and tie off.  Now for the flowers. . . I used an assortment of tulips, ranunculus, craspedia and assorted greens and arranged to my liking. And there you have it!

I love everything about this project and believe that it would be simply gorgeous for a country or farm wedding or garden party.

A post is not a post without other inspiration. For the burlap bunny bag check out Bloom Designs and for the burlap bunny banner and many more burlap ideas hop on over to Uncommon Designs Online.

Happy Easter!

Calling all Sesame Street fans…

Check out this colorful birthday party designed by one talented mom, who made sure to celebrate her kids, Sesame Street style!

We loved spotting an array of blumeboxes throughout this party and the ways in which the blumeboxes were used. While blumebox is designed to hold flowers, with its cardboard make up, it allows for so many more uses.  And this party showcases some fun alternatives.

Amidst the endless offerings of candy on the sweets table, two 6″ blumeboxes are filled with assorted suckers and tissue. Talk about cute, colorful, and cost effective!

Need a way to display signs? How clever are all the Sesame Street cut outs, displayed in different colored 8″ blumeboxes. To weigh down the box and hold up the signs, you could fill the blumebox bag with sand, rocks or marbles.

We want to hear from you! Have you incorporated blumeboxes into a recent celebration and have images you would like to share? Contact us.

This is one spectacularly sweet, Ice Cream Parlour Birthday Party, that we had to share after spotting it over on Chickabug Blog.

Get a look at that back drop, will you! It is hand-painted by Deb Surawski of Florence, SC. Yes…Hand painted! How incredibly awesome is that!! ! While we were busy obsessing over this fabulous mural, we happened upon some blumeboxes that were incorporated on the tables.

On the dessert table, a pinwheel arrangement was designed inside a few 8″ white blumeboxes and decorated with ribbon and personalized decals. On the long tables,8″ blumeboxes, decorated with ribbon and personalized decals, were filled boa ice cream cones.
