Celebrate mom this Sunday, with a brunch!

We were inspired to build a yellow and grey infused board after seeing this fabulous poster from Holiday Snob. From there we selected an image of our 4″ silver birch blumebox cubes that adds a crisp, bright look to any table!

We adore this fan backdrop in more ways than one, and think it would be just as fabulous scaled down and have them hanging in a room. The straws provide added style to drinks and the cupcakes are just plain adorable! The LOVE poster could make great place cards, place mats or menu cards.

Time is of the essence, so get cracking on setting one fabulous yellow and grey table to celebrate your mom and grandma!

In honor of all the fabulous teachers out there, we give you this colorful and tasty teacher appreciation gift idea!

Your kids will love helping out with this fun and easy project that turns into a clever gift for teachers. Start with any color 4″ blumebox and start gluing on the crayons. We used a glue gun , but would not recommend this adhesive process for littles. Instead, use glue dots or strong adhesive double stick tape! Continue to adhere crayons around the blumebox.

To display the candied apple, we used our new cake pop inserts, and topped up the surface of the insert with m&m’s to add fun to the gift as well as more treats for the teacher to enjoy!

Wedding season is nearing and we have a feeling that cake pops are going to be all the rage at the dessert bars and sweet tables!

This striking silver satin 4″ blumebox cube, decorated with sheer black ribbon and printable’s, were designed for Valentine’s Day, by Keisha from Cupcake Wishes & Birthday Dreams, but we see it suitable for Wedding Season! When we tracked down this stunning silver, black and pink Valentine’s Day party and read that glass pebbles and Styrofoam were used to anchor the cake pops in the blumeboxes, we knew we had a niche.

The blumebox cake pop insert makes displaying sweets on a stick easy, while being green at the same time!

We are buzzing over this super cute yellow and black Bay-Bee Shower created by Terri’s Treasures, who bakes the cutest sweets,that can be personalized to suit any occasion/event. Be sure to check out her Facebook page to drool over her designs.

Like all good parties, the “Bumble Bee” theme was designed around the invitations and printable’s from, The Celebration Shoppe. From there, the yellow and black Bay-Bee Shower began to take shape.

Featured on the tables, were 8″ cornflower yellow blumeboxes, adorned with black & white damask paper ribbon and bee printables, filled with sunflowers. One of our favorite decorations were the hanging pom poms, tying in the black and yellow color palette. With a quick search, we discovered this How To Make Hanging Pom Poms Instructional, that seemed easy enough to recreate pom poms for the theme of your choice!

Party Tip: In place of flowers, pom poms (not hanging) make a great decorative topper to blumeboxes!

We love to be surprised, and when we read the color palette for this featured wedding, we wondered how all these colors could be presented together? Needless to say we were speechless when we saw the photographs, by the talented Jen Artur Photography, from this stunning, vibrant wedding in Raleigh, NC.

MEWS Floral Designs crafted beautiful bouquets and centerpieces comprised of rich hues of orange, red and white with accents of eucalyptus that were chosen to match the bridesmaids dresses. The 8″ eco-chic blumeboxes in aqua marine, orange and white were decorated with colorful ribbon that brought forth punches of the Aqua and Orange palette the bride and groom were after.

This adorable girls “Almost Sleep Over” birthday party by Ellen Bessette Events is too cute not to miss.  This is the perfect party for little ones that are not quite ready for a night away from Mom and Dad, or Mom and Dads not quite ready for an overnight with a group of girls!

We love all of the details, especially the incorporation of the 8″ lime green blumebox, white boas, and passion pink zebra paper ribbons as centerpieces.  We absolutely adore how she used beds completely made and setup for noshing all those delectable treats.

We had so much fun creating this vintage, eco-chic Easter brunch photo shoot.

I was able to use my fab Lenox Chirp Ware china, as well as a beautiful set of silver that has been passed down from my husband’s family.  We brought in elements of nature with a real birds nest and eggs atop a serving platter and our 4″ aqua marine blumebox with eggs on top of a pillow of moss.  Building on the vintage feel, we covered a portion of the table with a burlap runner, incorporating some fabulous texture. An 8″ bright white blumebox filled with hydrangeas, cherry blossoms, and ranunculus (picked up from our neighborhood Trader Joe’s) added some Spring zest to the table.  All of these components created the perfect setting for a wonderful Easter brunch.

Similar to so many themes, this vintage aqua marine and white color scheme could translate nicely for a baby shower, birthday or dinner party.

We spotted this adorable idea over at CSI Project from Just Another Day In Paradise, by the talented Marissa who used mason jars for this fabulously easy DIY Easter centerpiece idea. She created planters out of the mason jars which look great and make for great gifts for your guests who join you for your Easter Brunch.

Another take on this easy DIY vinyl decal Easter project, is to use colorful blumebox cubes! With so many options to select from, you are sure to add a splash of Spring to your table with any color combo you decide.  We found some FREE rabbit stencils online, which we printed out and used to trace out three different rabbit shapes onto white shelf lining paper. We did not have vinyl and the shelf liner paper worked perfectly. Side note…Patterned vinyl or shelf paper would be a very cute addition!

While we loved the planter idea, we opted for the sweet route and used the cake pop inserts to hold candy! Of course we had to debuted some rabbit PEEPS for this Easter shoot!

Seriously who doesn’t like breakfast?  What a great theme that Hostess Tori from Thoughtfully Simple came up with for her little one’s 5th birthday party!

She has a great table set up with all kinds of morning sugary goodness. Really, those cinnamon buns are making me hungry.  And we love the 4″ blumeboxes with the cake pop inserts filled with donut pops.  And of course the birthday cake was made to look like a stack of flap jacks covered in icing and sprinkles.  Yum!
