This fresh oceanic color palette was sent in from a bride who used 8″aqua marine blumeboxes and red coral printed ribbon at her Hawaiian nuptials.

White hydrangeas filled the “tiffany blue” colored blumeboxes, which sat on pebble tiles and were surrounded by sea urchins, starfish and white orchids.

Just in time for wedding season, aqua marine makes for an elegant new  addition to the blumebox color palette. We love it paired up with accents of white and silver.

Showcased here are our new blank scalloped cards that can be personalized for just about any celebration. In this instance, the card is layered on top of our printed ribbon and used to call out the table number. What a creative way to make a centerpiece useful all the while eliminating the space for those ugly silver table number holders.

Re-create this:

· 4″ cube aqua marine

· aqua chain-link paper ribbon

· white scalloped card

· white carnations and various other stems of your choice to fill out bouquet

Kraft-blumeboxes-with-assorted-bouquets

We adore this organic looking table decor that Florali out of Walnut Creek, CA created for a “eco-savvy” wedding.  They started with our 6″ blumeboxes in kraft natural,  added their own cardboard ribbon and filled each blumebox vase with a gorgeous selection of neutral colored cut flowers making for one fresh looking table.  What a great idea for a wedding shower, rehearsal dinner or outdoor wedding reception!

bridal-bouquet-transport-lime-slice

Vicki Sanders of Branching Out Floral & Event Design loves blumeboxes to transport her bridal bouquets. “I love them because they provide a water source, and transport beautifully. Having the square bottom, they pack well and don’t fall over!

Not too mention using the recyclable cardboard blumeboxes, save me a trip from returning to the church. When I use glass, churches in my area want you to come back for them.”

Personalized-black-and-yellow-bridal-bouquet-delivery-vases

This gorgeous photo from professional photographer Sarah K. Chen, depicts the clever and elegant way Christine Saunders from The Spiraled Stem used blumeboxes to transport bouquets for a recent Southern California wedding. Eight-inch Black blumeboxes and six-inch yellow blumeboxes were adorned with different thicknesses of yellow and black ribbon, then whimsical name tags were affixed on the front. Silky black ribbon wrapped the yellow and white Calla Lilies in delicate folds. It was a perfect, fanciful look, and easy enough to try at home!

pink wedding centerpiece with white feather boa

Michelle at Floribunda Designs is the mastermind behind this watercolor inspired pink, black and white wedding centerpiece.
She started with a 6″ pretty-n-pink blumebox and added subtle touches of elegance by stamping the couple’s initials onto heavy paper then cutting narrow strips of more paper in a corresponding color to create a ribbon. She added a white boa to the neck of the blumebox, adding a delicate touch of gossamer to the arrangement.

This is such an elegant wedding centerpiece, yet was created very simply using her scrap-booking skills.

Personalized black and white centerpiece

This do-it-yourself centerpiece idea is a simple way to exhibit memories of the couple, fitting for either their engagement party, rehearsal dinner or on their wedding day.
Select images of choice, cut to suit and frame against layers of decorative paper and ribbon. Also a great idea for identifying the tables for your guests!
