To create this beautiful look Marty of Marti’s Floral Designs used a damask patterned ribbon and adhered it with glue to the inside of the blumebox. Glue dots work well too!! To get that personalized look, she uses Martha Stewart’s blank die-cut tags, adds a sticker or rub-on initial and Voila!!
Because so many of her clients like to incorporate the bridal bouquets into the reception, the blumeboxes make for a fresh new look to showcase them. Marty goes on to say, “Each client has felt special with the way that I present her bridal bouquets. They love how the blumeboxes match their wedding palette.”

Blumebox offers a simple and elegant solution to house bridal bouquets before and after the ceremony. Why leave your bouquets abandoned and wilting on the table while you and your bridesmaids hit the dance floor? Place them in a blumebox around your cake table or on the bar for to beautify the room and preserve the blooms.
Courtenay Lambert created this stunning design for the Cincinnati Wedding Magazine.

For a friends 39-again birthday party we wanted to create a modern contemporary table setting and because this wasn’t her first 39th birthday party, we wanted to keep the cost per centerpiece to a reasonable level.
This mod inspired centerpiece was a cinch to create. We started with a black 4” cube ($3.50ea) and adhered our eco-friendly printed ribbons ($1.99 per centerpiece) to each side giving it a crisp boost of contemporary style. Using black and white bird blumebud place card holders ($9/6-pack) adds a classic and personal touch.
Adding lots of greens to these centerpieces also allowed us to minimize the number of flowers required yet still creates a colorful centerpiece. In this case we allowed each of the guests to take the centerpieces home to enjoy as a party favor, but maybe we should have folded them up and used them for her 39th again party next year…

Consider creating this tote for your bridesmaids to carry in lieu of the standard bridal bouquet.
Decorate the 6″ blumebox with fabric, ribbon, or your favorite wrapping paper to complement your wedding color palette. Then add the ribbon handle by drilling two holes through opposite sides of the blumebox and tie each end off in a knot, turning it into a purse. Fill it with flowers or leave it empty to be filled later with their personal accessories.
Here we used decorative gift-wrap to adorn the 6” blumebox, which allowed us to tie in the romantic black and white theme of the wedding.
This would also make a great basket for the flower girl to hold her petals!

This do-it-yourself centerpiece idea is a simple way to exhibit memories of the couple, fitting for either their engagement party, rehearsal dinner or on their wedding day.
Select images of choice, cut to suit and frame against layers of decorative paper and ribbon. Also a great idea for identifying the tables for your guests!

These black and white centerpieces were created by using an assortment of blumebox sizes and simply adding decorative ribbon to the corner edges of each blumebox.
Cut ribbon to desired length, glue and you’ll have an exquisite focal point for your table!
Another great idea: reverse the color combination and start with black blumeboxes adorned with white ribbon.
