Spruce up your table top this holiday season with live greens!

In our photo at the top we have a lemon Cyprus tree that is not your traditional evergreen but still really festive and we love the pop of chartreuse.  We have placed it in a 4″ bright white blumebox and added a festive touch with candy cane washi tape.  On a side note we are totally obsessed with washi tape.

This is a great idea for centerpieces, mantles, or even great a hostess gift for all of those holiday parties!

What we love most about the holiday season is the endless array of delectable sweets!

We love candy so much that we decided to create peppermint topiaries. We started with Styrofoam cones and painted them red.  And then we affixed the peppermint candy to the cone with a hot glue gun.  We wrapped our  4″ blumebox with ribbon to dress them up, filled them with marbles and put the finished peppermint trees on top.

This extremely simple and easy whimsical DIY  project, could be less holiday and more suitable for kids birthday parties and candy bars by using different sweets. Sink your teeth into some gumdrops, M&M’s, licorice. . . to name a few!

Blumeboxes are fabulous for so many reasons, one of which is the variety of colors they come in. While I do love all the colors, there is something so elegant about the kraft natural.

We love this image that was sent in by Carolyn Parker over at Rose Notes who experimented with one gorgeous harvest of Peggy Martin Roses in a variety of containers, one of which was a kraft natural blumebox.

What’s not to love about the arrival of Fall? Fabulous vegetables, sunflowers, gourds, red wine and hearty meals! We particularly love to see the transition of colors that occurs with the blumebox orders. Going from summery pinks, purples, and lime green to mocha, black, orange and yellow, we see first hand the change of season.

Whether it an Oktoberfest Fete, Halloween Hallows Dinner Party, Rustic Fall Celebration or Thanksgiving Feast, eco-chic Blumebox offers fabulous centerpieces for all your Autumn entertaining needs.

Featured above are the 6″ and 8″ black blumeboxes decorated with strips of elegant wrapping paper and raffia.  And nothing ties in a theme more successfully that added decor, such as this assortment of gourds.

This is a very easy Fall centerpiece solution that is perfect for adorning your Thanksgiving table. Featured here is an 8″ mocha blumebox with decorated satin orange ribbon edges. The dried corn husk was attached by hot glue. Fill with some sunflowers or branches and you have one festive centerpiece, that is sure to turn heads.

Our friends over at the Floral Design Institute introduced us to this innovative centerpiece idea that is just the ticket for Fall celebrations. They created a great “Artichoke Fun” video showing how to recreate this look with artichokes of all colors.

In the video they use containers of all sizes, but after the video was taken they thought that the 4″ blumebox cube would work nicely to showcase this centerpiece idea too. So they filled the 4″ silver birch cube with purple sisal, incorporated touches of oregano to the sisal and added the artichoke in the center of the arrangement. This fantastic Fall idea could serve as a wonderful hostess gift or work well in a series down a table.

Be sure to check out the rest of their fabulous “how to” videos while you are on their website.

Purple is a very hot color theses days for events and we are excited to announce the very close arrival date (July 26th) of our new Purple Rain. It joins our 17 other colors that creates one beautiful pallet of hues to select from.

We especially love how this beautiful jewel toned purple pairs up with our Sage Green and Silver Satin blumebox products.

The Summer season is filled with parties of all types.  So what better way to treat the hosts than with this creative garden fresh vegetable bouquet.

Shown here is our 8″ cornflower yellow blumebox that we filled with an assortment of lettuce, green onions, carrots and tomatoes that came fresh from the garden. For a little add on, we incorporated salad tongs to the bouquet.

This is just one more idea demonstrating that  blumeboxes are not just to be used for fresh flowers and potted plants.

Easter is just around the corner and blumeboxes make for a great DIY Easter basket project for all ages.

Shown here is a 6″ eucalyptus blue adorned with fake grass blades and PEEPS. To add the handle we poke two holes on opposite sides of one another and laced a ribbon through it. Tie of each end with a knot and you have yourself your very own Easter basket!
