Making-a-silver-glittered-blumebox-centerpiece

When I spotted this two tone gold glittered mason jar on Pinterest, I immediately tagged it to my pinspiration board to try out on a blumebox.

On hand, I had silver glittery ribbon that I figured might just work as easily and with less mess than glitter. And easy it was. I cut the ribbon in strips that fit around the circumference of the 4″ cube blumebox and started gluing from the bottom and worked my way up. I stopped 1/3 of the way up the box, but you could cover to whatever your preference.

If you choose to use glitter, follow the instructions here on lilyshop.

We absolutely loved the results and know this would be stunning at a winter wedding, formal event and sparkling for a New Years party!

Holiday parties…REALLY! Indeed they are upon us and blumebox is here for your party needs!

Serve your guests some bubbly and offer them some rock candy for a fun festive addition. What better way way to do so than by using a 4″ blumebox cube with a blumebox dessert insert to easily arrange the rock candy. (You will have to remove the round ball from the rock candy stick to use with dessert insert)

Add some ribbon and festive labels to to add some holiday cheer and you have yourself one rockin’ table of bubbles!

We love seeing a blumebox transformed into sparkling beauties, such as the one designed by Triple Berries Events and Paeonia Designs for a wedding reception aboard The Odyssey cruise line.

Lights, Camera, Action!

This Sunday is the Academy Awards and we saw it only fit to put together an ideas board of some pretty cool, easy and DIY ways to put on one award winning soiree.

For eating, drinking and decor ideas we have The White Library to thank. Be sure to check out last year and this year tips in creating one sparkling star-studded event.

We jazzed up a 5.5 ” black blumebox cube and created a cascading tinsel star table decoration that was easy, cost effective and would be a great addition to a buffet table, champagne bar or candy table. And for a quick cost effective way to decorated a wall, blow up assorted colored balloons and pin to backdrop.

Your guests will feel like stars when drinking campaign out of these festive tagged straws created by The White Library. But if you are tight on time, you could always just go with the striped straws. And for this we have to share with you a fabulous new vendor, Shop Sweet Lulu.

What an enchanting winter wedding we spotted by the super talented Courtenay Lambert Florals !  Crystals and candlelight keep this winter wedding warm and inviting.  The vibrant bridal bouquets add the perfect pop of color to this simple and chic silver and white color palette.  The bridesmaids bouquets are placed in a 8″ Silver Blumebox embellished with grey velvet ribbon and crystal trim.

This magical winter decor also lends itself well to Holiday or NYE party decor.
