Cowboy theme party table centerpieces

You might have a tyke who dreams of being a cowboy, or you might have an older boy – like the 67 year-old who was the guest of honor at the soiree above– who might appreciate this Western inspired theme. The decorations were simple: blue and red handkerchiefs for napkins and a table runner, string fastened to look like barb-wire interwoven through, and black 4” cubes with succulents and cactus reminiscent of the Southwest, turned this summer party into a wild ride! After the party is over, the plant-filled blumebox cubes can become permanent fixtures inside!

iib_easter-baskets

Start new, creative traditions this Easter! Use a blumebox cube in place of a traditional basket, and have fun creating a festive design!

For these, we started with lime green and white 4” cubes, then decorated the outside with Easter grass, paper cut-outs, craft-store chicks and jelly candies. The inside of the cube was just the right size for a variety of candies and prize-filled eggs. When the holiday is over, we can put them away in the box of Easter decorations for use year after year!

my monet flower vase

What does Mom love more than fresh flowers? Homemade presents from the kids! Combine her two wishes by giving her flowers in a blumebox decorated by her favorite little artist.

My Monet kids kits are six inch blumeboxes without the usual aqueous varnish. They come with a box of crayons, but that is just the beginning of the ways they can be decorated! Here, our friend Stella, age 8, used glitter, fingerpaints, and gold and silver markers to express her love for Mom. Stickers, ribbons, and other fun arts and crafts materials could provide hours of artistic fun for the kids – on rainy days, in the classroom, or for a special Mother’s Day gift.

personalized yellow bridal bouquets

The color we associate with sunshine is just about as cheerful as it gets. Mixing one of the most recognizable heralds of spring – the smile-inducing daffodil – with elegant black and white accents can turn any occasion into a gala event.

This look was created using a tall Cornflower Yellow blumebox, filled tightly with a dozen daffodils. A black, patterned ribbon was affixed at an angle, and topped with a scalloped, monogrammed tag. The entire arrangement took only minutes to assemble, but the overall look was simply elegant.

tall hot pink and brown flower vase

This easy yet elegant flower vase was used as a table decoration on the guest book table at a wedding.  As a last minute idea by the florist to use a left over centerpiece flower vase, the result is stunning.  You too could easily re-create this floral arrangement in minutes.
Pictured is a tall passion pink blumebox flower vase adorned with thin decorative ribbon (2 pieces per side) attached with glue to the top and bottom of the blumebox.
Chocolate brown paper was cut with scalloped sheers to accentuate the monogram piece and then simply layered with pink paper followed by rub-on letter decals of the letter/s of choice.
