Purple is a very hot color theses days for events and we are excited to announce the very close arrival date (July 26th) of our new Purple Rain. It joins our 17 other colors that creates one beautiful pallet of hues to select from.

Fourth of July is just around the corner and we have compiled an ideas board to help you put on the quintessential patriotic bash!

For the rest of our RED, WHITE AND BLUE inspirations we called on the Hostess with the Mostess site for fresh, fun and creative takes on 4th of July table decor.

Embellish Floral Design sent on this party from a 50th Class Reunion for the University of the Pacific. A party can come together by simply adhering to a color palette. With Orange, Black and White as the school colors, they were able to carry out this theme throughout the entire look of the table.

Used in this party were the black and white bird blumebuds, that were used withe the black facing out. The centerpieces themselves are the 8″ jet-set black blumebox decorated with orange ribbon and tied off with stickers of the schools mascot.

If you have not heard of Abby’s Closet, it is time you get to know more about this great non-profit, who happens to be based in our backyard, Portland Or.

The idea started with a pink prom dress. When Abby Egland was cleaning out her closet before starting college, she wondered how she could best pass along the pretty pink dress that she had worn to her Prom. Her mom, Sally, had a great idea: why not start a volunteer group that collects formal dresses, and then give them away each spring to high school women who needed them for their prom? This was the start of Abby’s Closet in 2004.

For this years  “May Day Tea” and silent auction, Abby’s Closet used 6″ black blumeboxes as the centerpieces which doubled as table numbers. We love how they incorporated the pink and black color theme into the centerpiece with decorative paper and ribbon.

Snap Dragon Studio sent on this image that showcases such an elegant color palette of periwinkle blue and white.

They love using the blumeboxes for the transportation of their bridal bouquets. We love the beautiful craft accessories they incorporate into their presentation.

Just in time for wedding season, aqua marine makes for an elegant new  addition to the blumebox color palette. We love it paired up with accents of white and silver.

Showcased here are our new blank scalloped cards that can be personalized for just about any celebration. In this instance, the card is layered on top of our printed ribbon and used to call out the table number. What a creative way to make a centerpiece useful all the while eliminating the space for those ugly silver table number holders.

Showering the births of baby girls and boys really does not get any easier with the variety of colors we offer in the blumeboxes.

The inspiration behind this celebration came from a product we have fallen in love with and think is brilliant. The lollipop onesies come in 3 different colors and are just that…a striped (red, pink or blue) baby onsie wrapped up and packaged like a lollipop!

We love that the centerpiece is useful and becomes a gift for the mom to be! So whether you are throwing a pink, blue or neutral themed baby shower, the lollipop onsies are just what the baby ordered.

Easter is just around the corner and the 4″ blumeboxes are a perfect fit for all the spring potted plants that are starting to pop up at the nurseries. Pot plants of different kinds inside spring colors of blumeboxes and cluster along the table this Easter. We love finding multiple uses for things, so when Christine Saunders from The Spiraled Stem sent on this wedding, we were so pleased to see the blumeboxes used as centerpieces all the while calling out the table numbers.

Christine started with the 6″ white blumebox, wrapped it with chocolate brown satin ribbon, stamped out the table number on paper and adhered it to the middle of the box.
