Elmo themed party with a twist

Couture Parties came up with this fantastic twist to the standard Elmo theme.

Stephanie Frazier Grimm states, “My daughter Ellie is your typical 2 year old when it comes to Elmo.  She loves that furry red monster. So for her 2nd birthday party I wanted to jazz Elmo up a little bit.  When my Mom came over with a pink and orange tutu, my creative light bulb went off! An Elmo tutu party was born.

Check out the many more details of this fun party on her blog.

Cowboy theme party table centerpieces

You might have a tyke who dreams of being a cowboy, or you might have an older boy – like the 67 year-old who was the guest of honor at the soiree above– who might appreciate this Western inspired theme. The decorations were simple: blue and red handkerchiefs for napkins and a table runner, string fastened to look like barb-wire interwoven through, and black 4” cubes with succulents and cactus reminiscent of the Southwest, turned this summer party into a wild ride! After the party is over, the plant-filled blumebox cubes can become permanent fixtures inside!

my monet flower vase

What does Mom love more than fresh flowers? Homemade presents from the kids! Combine her two wishes by giving her flowers in a blumebox decorated by her favorite little artist.

My Monet kids kits are six inch blumeboxes without the usual aqueous varnish. They come with a box of crayons, but that is just the beginning of the ways they can be decorated! Here, our friend Stella, age 8, used glitter, fingerpaints, and gold and silver markers to express her love for Mom. Stickers, ribbons, and other fun arts and crafts materials could provide hours of artistic fun for the kids – on rainy days, in the classroom, or for a special Mother’s Day gift.

personalized yellow bridal bouquets

The color we associate with sunshine is just about as cheerful as it gets. Mixing one of the most recognizable heralds of spring – the smile-inducing daffodil – with elegant black and white accents can turn any occasion into a gala event.

This look was created using a tall Cornflower Yellow blumebox, filled tightly with a dozen daffodils. A black, patterned ribbon was affixed at an angle, and topped with a scalloped, monogrammed tag. The entire arrangement took only minutes to assemble, but the overall look was simply elegant.

6in white personalized bridal bouquet flower vase

The lines of a blumebox accessorize nicely with wedding bouquets, whether they are sleek and modern, or whimsically romantic.
This fancy feathered bouquet created by Out of Hand fits perfectly into our 6″ white blumebox. With a sprinkling of their creative genius ( a personalized name card from any paper store), they have given each bridesmaid her very own personalized container. Even better is the flowers can remain in water right up until the point where they need to walk down the aisle, ensuring they look absolutely fabulous for the wedding.
These blumebox bouquet holders, a.k.a. flower vases, also looked beautiful after the ceremony as accents on the cake tables.
