We love this idea that was created by the talented Michelle at Floribunda Designs, who started with a 6″ red burst blumebox, adorned with stamped paper decor and filled with a fresh strawberry plant.

This would make for a great centerpiece for a summer party as well as a healthy goodie bag for kids to take home, plant, and watch grow.

Couture Parties came up with this fantastic twist to the standard Elmo theme.

Stephanie Frazier Grimm states, “My daughter Ellie is your typical 2 year old when it comes to Elmo.  She loves that furry red monster. So for her 2nd birthday party I wanted to jazz Elmo up a little bit.  When my Mom came over with a pink and orange tutu, my creative light bulb went off! An Elmo tutu party was born.

What does Mom love more than fresh flowers? Homemade presents from the kids! Combine her two wishes by giving her flowers in a blumebox decorated by her favorite little artist.

My Monet kids kits are six inch blumeboxes without the usual aqueous varnish. They come with a box of crayons, but that is just the beginning of the ways they can be decorated! Here, our friend Stella, age 8, used glitter, fingerpaints, and gold and silver markers to express her love for Mom. Stickers, ribbons, and other fun arts and crafts materials could provide hours of artistic fun for the kids – on rainy days, in the classroom, or for a special Mother’s Day gift.

When Ryan and Trista Sutter, of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette fame, threw a party to celebrate their son’s first birthday, blumeboxes were part of the celebration!

Mom Logic hosted the birthday festivities and the talented Jenn Sbranti from Hostess with the Mostess helped with the creative planning of it all.
Candy-colored blumeboxes were decorated with stickers and our patterned ribbons, then filled with assorted candy suckers that made for a very delicious bouquet.
And to top of the colorful “candy land” theme, Jenn wrapped the napkins with our patterned ribbons adding to the very festive soiree!

This contrast of red and black is striking and is perfect for a wide variety of parties. Shown here was a design Lemiga Events used for a Casino Night soiree.

To get a similar look, start with a 6″ black blumebox and wrap with decorative ribbon for a little splash of color. This color combo that Heather at Outstanding Occasions put together is a fave of ours! We love the contrast that’s so crisp, clean, and STUNNING! The pale blue and red party theme was incorporated into every detail, from the blumebox centerpieces, to the favors,  even the Strawberry-Lime, and Berry Lemonade Jones sodas were a perfect match.
